Some people get into sports so they can get fit, can be part of a team, can feel included, can have friend – some people get into sports to become magnificent, to score goals, to have an exquisite physique, for these people to play is not enough, they are playing on a different level to everyone else.
Hardcore is most often of the former type – a friendship circle and an identity.
Cult hardcore is extreme – victorious, magnificence, glory - self-destruction, suicide, disgrace. It’s not necessarily fun to listen to, or be a part of – like playing football with someone who thinks they are the next coming of Ronald O, it can be alienating.
If you feel truly apart from your peers, your generation, your world, hardcore makes sense, in the manner a cult makes sense to those stuck inside it: extreme and frightening to outsiders. Concerning, and pathetic. A losers game.
