Here’s a quick one , some random extracts out of a couple of issues of Distort from 2009.

In the year 2009, I’d been in Melbourne for five years and Straightjacket Nation had just finished our tour of SE Asia: Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Total Control and UV had both started playing and releasing records. I was working at a record store in the city called Missing Link, and about this time retired from my boxing and psychedelic ingestion. Both of these issues of Distort were packed with phlegmatic analysis of hardcore punk and metal records. I was going for a cold-blooded disposition.

I was reading a lot of conspiracy theories, “alternative science”, revisionist histories, sci fi / fantasy, cult propaganda. I was attempting some kind of psychic bleaching.
